Furniture is kept in the storeroom and must be returned there after use. Chairs to be in stacks of 8.
Uses
The Main Hall is currently used regularly for:
- U3A meetings
- Carpet bowls
- Line dancing
- Pilates
- Tot Bop
The regular activities are provided by organisations not part of the hall management and their contact details are listed on the Regular Activities page.
It is also use for parties (excluding evening parties), quizzes and as the local polling station.
Committee Room
Suitable for smaller discussion groups, it has a single large table with eight chairs. A number of chairs have arms that can be used in the main hall for those with mobility problems.

Kitchen
The kitchen facilities include:
- An oven with four hobs
- A microwave oven
- A refrigerator
- A hot cupboard
- Crockery and cutlery for 80 people
- A double sink and
- Two kettles
Water can be heated by boiler on the draining board or by immersion heater (switch is located in the cloakroom).
Please note: there is no dishwasher.

Access to the Hall
The Hall can be access via the main double doors.
There is also disabled access through the double doors to the patio.
There are three further emergency fire exits.

Toilets
The toilet facilities consist of:
- Ladies’ toilet (2 cubicles)
- Gentlemen’s toilet (2 cubicles and urinals) and
- Accessible toilet with baby changing facilities
Please note: the toilet area is accessible (with a key) to the outside for those who have booked to use the play area only.
Parking
There is parking for approximately 30 cars in front of the Hall.
Access To Village Green And Play Area
There are double doors off the Main Hall that open directly onto a patio and onto the Village Green. A children’s play area is at the further end of the Green.
